Considering The Female University Students’ Fear of Crime from “The Community Concern Perspective”: A Case Study In Konya

Günümüz kentlilerinin en önemli sorunlarından biri olarak "suç korkusu", ilgili yazında hem toplumsal, hem de bireysel bağlamda ele alınmaktadır. Bunun nedeni, korkunun bireyin hem psikolojik durumu ile doğrudan ilgili olması, hem de bireyi aşarak, toplumsal olumsuzlukları beraberinde getirmesidir. Özellikle, korkunun kentliler arasında yayılması, onların kendilerine ve çevrelerine duydukları güven duygusunu zedelemekte, yaşam kalitelerini azaltmakta ve sorunu tedavisi çok güç bir toplumsal patoloji haline getirmektedir.As one of the main problems of today’s city dwellers, fear of crime is considered from social and individual perspectives in literature. The reason of this kind of consideration, is that the fear of an individual is directly related to her/his psychological situation, and also it has negative social side effects. The spread of fear among the city dwellers, damages their self-confidence and the confidence in their entourage and causes a social pathology
